Job Details

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market share for optical instruments in the Lower Gulf region.

Identify and prospect potential customers, including optometrists, optical retailers, hospitals, clinics, and optical distributors, to expand the customer base.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the features, benefits, and applications of our optical instruments.

Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials, including brochures, catalogs, and online campaigns, to support sales efforts.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements related to optical instruments, and provide relevant feedback to the management team.

Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sales performance.

Provide training and guidance to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the optical instruments industry.

Optometrist with a deep understanding of optical instruments, their applications, and usage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills to effectively promote and sell optical instruments.

Knowledge of the Lower Gulf region's optical instruments market, including key customers and competitors, is highly desirable.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and generating reports.

Willingness to travel within the Lower Gulf region to meet with customers and attend industry events as required.
