Urban Planner Full-time Job

As an Intern Urban Designer, you will collaborate closely with the design team to deliver diverse master plans across various projects in the region. You'll support conceptual urban design and planning work, site analysis, master planning, development briefs, and design strategies. Responsibilities during your internship will include:

Collecting, comprehending, and graphically representing Zoning Regulations, local regulatory frameworks, and urban design guidelines in operating regions.

Assisting senior staff in preparing qualitative and quantitative diagrams and drawings, including benchmark and precedent studies.

Gathering relevant design typologies for project brief discussions with Senior Urban Designers.

Contributing to maintaining the office's physical and digital library of submitted projects, urban design books, and innovative ideas.

Analyzing project briefs and sites, collaborating with peers to develop comprehensive site reviews and recommendations.

Acquiring or progressing towards a basic understanding of urban design attributes used in projects.

Translating and representing innovative design solutions using digital tools and personal skills.

Graphically representing ideas and concepts, developing sequential narrative representations.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of an Urban Design or Archiecture Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited University

Maintaining a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

Available to participate in our 11-week Summer Internship Program from June to August 2024.
