Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning :
• Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with client objectives and agency goals.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscapes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and expectations for each event.
2. Project Management :
• Oversee end-to-end event planning, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
• Create and maintain detailed project timelines to ensure all milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risks or challenges throughout the event planning process.
3. Team Leadership :
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of event professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, leveraging team strengths and expertise to optimize performance
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
4. Client Relationship Management :
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and nurturing strong relationships built on trust and communication.
• Actively listen to client feedback and preferences, translating their vision into actionable event concepts and experiences.
• Provide strategic recommendations and innovative solutions to enhance client satisfaction and exceed expectations.
5. Creative Direction :
• Inspire and guide the creative development of event concepts, themes, and experiences that resonate with target audiences.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams, external vendors, and partners to bring event concepts to life through engaging design, branding, and content.
6. Quality Assurance :
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout the event planning and execution process, ensuring flawless implementation and delivery.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success against predefined KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in event planning and management, with a proven track record of successfully executing large-scale event, with a notable
advantage in UAE-specific experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of event design.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Flexibility to travel and work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
