Tax Assistant Manager Full-time Job

Job Responsibilities:

Support the Finance Team with internal and external resources to implement company tax savings strategies. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Build relationships and interact with tax authorities & tax advisory firms to provide innovative tax planning & consultation.

Providing tax subject matter expertise to various business lines including Business Development, Marketing, Legal, Customer Service, and various product groups. Undertaking tax planning initiatives from end to end.

Reviewing new business initiatives and assisting with identifying Zakat/ indirect tax impacts on the business.

Supporting the Group Tax team in providing end-to-end tax requirements for projects and business initiatives, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional team members to scope these requirements.

Researching and advising on various Zakat, direct, and indirect tax matters from the perspective of UAE and KSA business.

Support on tax compliance and controversial initiatives.

Managing and coordinating tax audits, including audit preparation, responding to document requests, Litigation support, etc., as may be required

What you'll need:

Professional qualification such as ACA/ ACCA/ CPA Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a similar

Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in GCC Tax.

Exposure to the eCommerce Industry is an advantage.

Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on and a self-motivated personality

Enjoys and thrives working with and in a cross-functional team

Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skill
