Business Development - Partnerships - Strategy

Oversee the plan, design, build and operate the priority sports that are deemed to be funded and developed.

Develop sports assets business models, management models and contractual agreements with operators.

Assess the current state of professional sports inclusive of Football club in terms of quality levels.

Develop and build partnerships and agreements with government entities, developers, investors, etc. for projects related to sports sector.

Ensure to assess the current state of sports facilities and identify interventions required to improve availability and quality of facilities

Oversee and organize sports competitions and tournaments.

Develop and manage commercial agreements and sponsorships pertaining to sports assets and sports events.

Manage and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders for investments and marketing

Deal with all stakeholders related the sports sector including but not limited to the sports committee, Saudi sports Federation, Ministry of sports, etc.

Contribute to the sector's short-and long term strategy from the Department's perspective in line with overall vision and mission.

Develop the Department's strategy, objectives, and KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.

Prepare and submit the Department's annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance.

Oversee the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of the department policies and procedures as well as the overall performance of the department and ensure KPIs are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role should be a dynamic and strategic sports management professional with a strong background in sports development and business acumen. They should possess extensive experience in overseeing the planning, design, and operation of priority sports initiatives, including the development of sports assets, business models, and contractual agreements. Additionally, they should excel in assessing the current state of professional sports and sports facilities, identifying improvements, and building crucial partnerships with government entities, developers, and investors.
