Responsibilities
The process owner role is accountable for ensuring that a process is fit for purpose. The person will ensure their process is performed according to the agreed and documented standard and meets the aims of the process definition.
The Main Responsibilities Are
Establish and maintain the ITIL Change Management process in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
Develop and manage the change management policy, procedures, and process flows.
Ensure that all changes are evaluated, approved, and implemented in a controlled and consistent manner.
Manage and coordinate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure that changes are reviewed and approved by the CAB.
Continually improve the change management process by identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
Act as the point of contact for all change management-related issues and queries.
Provide regular reporting and communication on the status of change management activities.
Collaborate with other ITIL process owners to ensure alignment and integration of processes.
Facilitate communication and awareness of change management process and procedures with stakeholders.
Provide guidance and training to IT staff and business stakeholders on the change management process.
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the change management process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or related field.
Approximately 5-7 years of experience in IT service management, and with minimum 3 years of experience in Change Management.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and related processes.
ITIL certification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.
