Job Details

The main responsibilities are:

Assist in managing room rates and restrictions, preparing rooms forecasts on weekly and monthly basis.

Direct the application of appropriate inventory management and pricing strategies to ensure that seasonal and day-of-week demand peaks are smoothed, and that the property is able to continuously grow its Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).

Prepare daily revenue reports and circulate them to the relevant stakeholders and departments (Reservations, Sales and Marketing, Finance) in order to keep them informed of revenue performance and raise any gaps in revenue.

Monitor the competition’s activities on a weekly basis through shop reports and online research to identify potential selling points and revenue-related market trends that the SBU could benefit from integrating.

To support the Revenue Manager to update MAR calendar, in month end reporting.

Pull daily reports from Delphi & Opera such as ‘reservations entered by’, change log, cancellations, and turndown reports.

To control inventory in PMS by balancing room types for future dates.

Assist Delphi Key Operator in maintaining the interface between Delphi and PMS, ensure that turndowns and cancellations are tracked correctly in Delphi system and communicate with Delphi administrator.

To be responsible for the accurate communication of any selling strategies to the relevant departments.

Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, to ensure that the content and information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

Review daily figures on the STR website.

To track ongoing & future promotions on a regular basis (room nights, revenue & average rate).
