Responsibilities

People Management

Assist the senior management of Technology Operations with setting the overall direction of the team, providing leadership, mentoring and coaching direct reports.

Support the senior management of Technology Operations with establishing and communicating performance standards, ensuring that the team’s and individual KPIs for the L2 Operations team are in line with department, business unit and Core42 strategic goals.

Oversee the performance of the L2 Operations team, provide direction and guidance to the employees on achieving the team’s objectives.

Engage with senior management of Technology Operations to identify opportunities to improve the team’s performance.

Provide constructive feedback to direct reports and provide inputs to senior management of Technology Operations on performance of employees and areas requiring focus.

Coach & develop the team to achieve their potential.

Functional

Support senior management with overseeing the functioning of cloud network, data, platform, and technical offerings.

In collaboration with the Technology Engineering department, support the department with the roll out new features to improve customer success across the Core42 platform.

Identify infrastructure dependencies, integrations, data flows and InfoSec requirements, to plan and drive these dependencies at various stages of project.

Support the Senior Manager of Technology Operations with managing the report of infrastructure incidents and follow standard procedures for the escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

Assist in monitoring the change management, incident management and problem management processes vis-à-vis response time, quality, productivity, and ticket handling.

Collaborate with information security and operations team to identify and implement cloud platform gaps.

Support in the process of identifying section’s technology-related needs that helps drive automation within the section and direct line of work.

Apply analytical, research and problem-solving skills across various systems and situations, including those that may be unfamiliar, to address critical issues in line with Core42’s code of ethics, policies, and procedures.

Work closely with the product owners and managers to ensure that systems are production ready.

Provide input towards budget preparation for the section to the Senior Manager of Technology Operations.

Governance

Maintain awareness and adherence to the department/section’s policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance of the team to the guidelines defined by division/department’s, such as, HR, legal, risk and quality assurance in addition to Core42s framework and DoA.

Participate in the periodic audit of established policies and procedures.
