Intern Geotechnical Internship Job

Candidate Specifics: We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about developing skills in geotechnical engineering areas including:

Geotechnical Investigations + Assessment of Geotechnical Parameters

Preparation of Ground Models for different design situations

Shallow Foundation Design + Deep Foundation Design

Earthworks (Embankment) Design

Slope Design

Excavation Lateral Support Design

Ground Improvement Design

Liquefaction Assessment

Geophysical Survey

Seismic Design

Geotechnics of dam design

Software Experience: You will have the opportunity to gain proficiency in software packages including:

Slope/W or Slide

Seep/W

Plaxis 2D or RS2 or Sigma/W

Repute, Group, and LPile

PDisp or Settle 3D

CPeT-IT

CLiq or Liquefy-Pro

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited University with exposure to one or more of the following subjects:

Geotechnical Engineering

Engineering Geology

Geological Engineering

Foundation Engineering

Soil Mechanics

Rock Mechanics

Rock Engineering

Mining Engineering

Maintaining a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

Available to participate in our 11-week Summer Internship Program from June to August 2024.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
