A little taste of your day-to-day
Prepare all Housekeeping correspondence, reports, memos, procedures, and purchase requests
Keep up to date housekeeping files and maintain an effective and efficient filing system
Control office supplies and be responsible for the inventories
Keep up-to-date and accurate records of all housekeeping employees’ annual leave, public holidays, medical leave, and attendance records
Update staff attendance and manage the payroll
Keep up-to-date and accurate records of outsourced staff’s attendance and liaise with vendors monthly invoice
Keep track of all ongoing projects and inventories, provide reports to Head of Housekeeping
Keep track of all outsourced service contractors, ensure the service is delivered as scheduled and invoices are posted on time
Raise purchase requests according to the stock level and ensure that stock is delivered on time
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Ensure that all messages are accurately taken and relayed correctly and promptly
Promote a friendly and conducive working relationship within the department and with other departments
Liaise with vendors on appointments for the Head of Housekeeping whenever necessary
Prepare reports and provide necessary data for the Head of Housekeeping
Have a good knowledge of housekeeping operations and the Hotel’s facilities and activities
Comply with Hotel rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and grooming standards
Take minutes of housekeeping meetings and any other meetings as assigned
Maintains knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel to recognize and respond to guests needs
Work effectively with customers and colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures, and countries
Work to understand and consider the global nature of the business
