Derma Nurse Full-time Job

Patient Assessment and Consultation:

Conduct initial consultations to understand patient concerns and goals.

Assess skin conditions and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.

Performing Cosmetic Procedures:

Administer injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers.

Perform laser treatments for hair removal, skin resurfacing, and pigmentation correction.

Conduct chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other exfoliation techniques.

Assist with or perform minor surgical procedures like mole removal.

Patient Education and Aftercare:

Educate patients about pre- and post-procedure care to ensure optimal results and prevent complications.

Provide information on skincare routines and products tailored to individual skin types and conditions.

Maintaining Patient Records:

Keep detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and progress notes.

Ensuring Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols, sterilization procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

Communicate effectively with patients to build trust and ensure they are comfortable with their treatment plans.

Continuous Education and Training:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in cosmetic dermatology, including new techniques and products.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Inventory and Equipment Management:

Manage inventory of skincare products, injectables, and medical supplies.

Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for safe and effective use.

Administrative Duties:

Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups.

Handle billing and insurance documentation related to cosmetic procedures.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience throughout their treatment journey.
