Functional Responsibilities:

Principal functions

Under the supervision of the UNOPS Nicaragua Communications Officer and the Project Manager Supporting social and infrastructure recovery after a natural disaster in Nicaragua, the communications assistant / Graphic design and audiovisual communication, as retainer (service retention consultant), will perform the following functions: GRAPHIC DESIGN:

Provide support in the development of information/awareness campaigns-products on different topics implemented with the public and stakeholders of the project 'Support for social and infrastructure recovery after natural disaster in Nicaragua' and those prioritized by the UNOPS Office In Nicaragua.

Design the graphic materials necessary for the implementation of these campaigns (brochures, fact sheets, presentations, infographics, reports, video capsules, dissemination material for social networks or other channels), ensuring compliance with UNOPS graphic guidelines.

Design and layout content in appropriate formats according to the target audience and/or activity, including the production of informative materials, newsletters, newsletters, flyers and presentations, among other materials.

Prepare materials for printing and coordinate technical requirements with suppliers selected by UNOPS.

Assist in the adaptation of graphic formats that can be shared and understood by a variety of audiences.

AUDIOVISUAL:

Prepare technical specifications of the materials with the supplier companies selected by UNOPS.

Provide support in the generation of audiovisual content for the dissemination of the characteristics, progress and results of UNOPS activities.

Adapt materials to different digital formats so that they can be shared on different digital platforms.

Provide support for video editing.

Create gifs, animations and other digital graphic products for digital platforms.

Manage the audiovisual, photographic archive and other digital materials.
