Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, define, and seek approval for business unit strategies, objectives, targets and budgets as a basis for individual performance planning.
· Drive the rollout of any new products ensuring that implementation happens within the agreed budgets and timelines across assigned region.
· Increase cross-sell ratio to deepen customer relationships and diversify Business Banking’s revenue stream.
· Achieve business plan objectives and targets to deliver planned business results within acceptable levels of risk.
· Drive the implementation of a channel strategy and suite of products appropriate for assigned region to improve customer experience, reduce cost-to-serve, and maintain competitiveness.
· Provide leadership to Business Banking RMs and ROs to acquire and grow relationships selectively and satisfy transactional needs of Business Banking customers.
· Drive the implementation of the long-term strategic vision and direction for assigned region, identifying the key steps necessary to achievement.
· Implement agreed relationship management approaches in order to project the Bank’s image in the market and achieve targeted volumes/revenues
· Build critical customer relationships and implement customer service policies and standards consistently in order to sustain and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
· Ensure compliance with the policies, procedures and regulations to protect the Bank’s interests.
· Ensure the Unit’s timely completion and check of all the requisite documentation, covenants etc. in order to maintain a well structured and organized portfolio.
· Protect sensitive customer and bank information are appropriately handled and be vigilant in driving staff behaviour, holding them accountable for any violation of policy.
· Manage, motivate and coach the unit staff to ensure desired levels of productivity and competency.
· Create a clear succession and/or development plan by identifying key employees to develop into more senior roles within EI.
· Continually monitor and manage performance to ensure desired levels of productivity from a team of 20 Senior Relationship Officers and 10 Account Managers, BB in addition to the Unit Managers and CSR staff under the reporting line.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Relevant education with minimum of Bachelors’ Degree .
· Minimum 5 years of SME Banking Liabilities experience in UAE Market.
