Senior Engineer Water Full-time Job

Your new role, what's involved?

Lead and manage the design and development of water infrastructure network projects, including but not limited to stormwater drainage, sewerage systems, potable water networks, and chilled water systems.

Conduct detailed feasibility studies, site investigations, and hydraulic modeling to assess project requirements and constraints.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, urban planners, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.

Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff within the water infrastructure team.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges and uncertainties.

Monitor project progress, budget, and quality assurance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in water infrastructure design and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience in the design and implementation of water infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East region.

Proven track record in designing wet utilities networks, including stormwater drainage, sewerage systems, potable water distribution, and chilled water systems.

Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET, SWMM, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations, including ASCE, ASTM, AWWA, and local regulatory requirements in the Middle East.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Middle East experience with engineering consultancies.
