Lab Technician Full-time Job

Primary Responsibilities Include

Performing laboratory experiments in compliance with established procedures

Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Maintaining laboratory equipment and tools in clean, safe and good conditions.

Following preventive maintenance procedures and notify maintenance personnel on any equipment repairs and malfunctions.

Generating routine reports on laboratory experiments.

Conducting laboratory tests according to equipment specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ordering and stocking laboratory supplies and instruments.

Working with other Technicians to complete laboratory tasks within assigned timelines.

Developing new laboratory procedures or enhancements to improve test quality and productivity.

Following proper waste disposal and recycling methodologies.

Required Qualifications And Skills

A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or any other related discipline, from an accredited institution of higher education.

Effective oral and written English communication skills.

Experience in working effectively with a diverse student population.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.

Experience with professional accreditation requirements.
