Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

Develop and implement strategies for monitoring IT performance, including system uptime, response times, and resource utilization.

Analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Utilize performance monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.

Performance Optimization

Define KPI Tracking methodology, tools and templates. As well as cadence and required data from the individual teams. Including tracking governance.

Lead performance management exercise ensuring transparency of team’s performance to VP of IT.

Implement best practices and standards to improve IT performance across the organization.

Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to optimize the performance of outsourced services and solutions.

Capacity Planning

Forecast future IT capacity requirements based on business growth projections and historical performance data.

Develop and maintain capacity planning models to ensure adequate resources are available to support current and future needs.

Make recommendations for hardware, software, and infrastructure upgrades to accommodate growth and maintain optimal performance levels.

Performance Reporting

Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for IT leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and performance improvement initiatives.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive decision-making and resource allocation.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and workflows to enhance performance and efficiency.

Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

Continuously assess and refine IT performance management practices to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in IT performance management, capacity planning, and optimization.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data and identify actionable insights.

Familiarity with performance monitoring tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) preferred.
