Financial Controller Full-time Job

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.

Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance metrics.

Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

Present financial information to stakeholders, including senior management and board members.

Operational Efficiency:

Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource allocation and utilization.

Implement controls and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

Community and Property Management:

Leverage expertise in community, facility, lease, and property management to support financial decision-making.

Assess and manage financial implications of property acquisitions, leases, and sales.

Ensure alignment of financial strategies with property management objectives.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Provide leadership and guidance to finance and accounting teams.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment conducive to achieving financial goals.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Proven experience in financial management, ideally within real estate or property management sectors.

Strong understanding of community, facility, lease, and property management principles.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business outcomes.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
