Responsibilities
Financial Accounting and Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and international accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors during the audit process.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
International Financial Operations
Manage the accounting aspects of international operations, addressing currency issues, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize accounting practices and streamline reporting processes across different geographies.
Budgeting And Forecasting
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor and analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial performance.
Treasury And Cash Management
Work with treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity, and working capital optimization.
Develop strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risks associated with international transactions.
Tax Compliance And Planning
Collaborate with tax experts to ensure compliance with tax regulations in various jurisdictions.
Develop tax-efficient strategies and structures to optimize the organization's global tax position.
Financial Systems And Technology
Evaluate and implement accounting systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Stay updated on emerging accounting technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
Qualified Accountant: CMA, CFA, ACCA, CA.
Possesses excellent commercial and business mindset
A minimum of 15 years of experience in Finance in international corporations, preferably in the technology sector
Proven experience in senior stakeholder management, including C-Level
Strong knowledge of FP&A best practices, being part of teams in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated exceptional success in defining and tracking success metrics for a business units.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract insights.
