Your new role, what's involved?
Provide technical expertise and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to required technical standards and specifications.
Collaborate with project teams to develop client proposals, including bid planning, costing, and producing technical proposals.
Manage project profitability and financial contribution, ensuring projects meet financial targets and deliver value to the company.
Be accountable for the overall success of allocated projects, including managing timeliness, contract negotiation, project management, quality control, financial performance, risk management, communication, and scope management.
Actively contribute to the ongoing development of engineering excellence within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure excellent technical standards are maintained in the design, documentation, and supervision of project work, with a focus on structural integrity and safety.
Take responsibility for building and maintaining strong business relationships both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and trust.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and strive to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services.
Lead and develop technical capability within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and expertise.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering field; Master's degree is preferred.
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license or Structural Engineering (SE) license is preferred.
Minimum 20 years of experience in structural design and engineering.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, foster a culture of excellence, and drive results.
