Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall strategy in alignment with the Executive Director of ICT for enterprise applications and Digital services in alignment with the University’s objectives.

Provide visionary leadership to the teams (ERP - Banner & Fusion, Applications, Web, Database, Development, Mobile Applications, and Integration), stay abreast of market trends, and evaluate emerging Enterprise & educational applications for adoption.

Lead and inspire a dynamic team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Develop a highly skilled and effective workforce by recruiting, training, and developing team members.

Direct the selection, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications, ensuring they meet University requirements and provide a positive impact on Administrative and Academic.

Establish a roadmap for application lifecycle management in collaboration with university stakeholders, ensuring the application and technology investments are aligned with university goals.

Maintain security, compliance, and optimal performance of digital services through the development and enforcement of governance policies and standards.

Measure enterprise application performance and digital service efficiency by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

Develop a cohesive and integrated approach with cross-functional teams from IT, including Infrastructure, Information security, and Governance, and other external stakeholders such as Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and other Administrative and Academic departments.

Understand business challenges and priorities while providing technology solutions for a sustainable business model.

Support senior management in developing the IT Enterprise applications and innovation budget, Developing yearly roadmap, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications And Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise applications and digital transformation

Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise applications and digital services.

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to align technology solutions with business goals.

Demonstrated success in leading Digital Transformation initiatives and implementing innovative technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in Enterprise Applications and digital services.

Experience with ERP Systems (Ellucian Banner/ Oracle Fusion).

Familiarity with Enterprise Application Architecture, Cloud, Database Management, Integration Technologies, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Mobile and Web Technologies, Security and Compliance, IT Governance and project management, Vendor Management, Data Analytics and Reporting.

UAE national preferred.
