Your new role, what's involved?
Lead the conceptualization, design development, and implementation of landscape architecture projects from inception to completion.
Develop creative and functional design concepts that integrate site analysis, client requirements, environmental considerations, and cultural context.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality design deliverables.
Coordinate with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and planners, to integrate landscape design seamlessly into larger development projects.
Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate the execution of landscape construction activities.
Conduct site visits, assessments, and surveys to evaluate existing conditions and identify opportunities for landscape enhancement.
Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and presentations to communicate design intent and obtain client approvals.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development within the landscape architecture discipline.
Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, sustainability, and urban design.
Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our expertise and capabilities in landscape architecture.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects in the Middle East region.
Proficiency in project management principles and practices, with demonstrated leadership abilities in leading multidisciplinary teams.
Expertise in landscape design software, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS applications.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards, with experience in applying LEED or Estidama criteria preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong understanding of local regulations, codes, and standards governing landscape architecture projects in the Middle East.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Fluency in English is required.
