Develop and implement comprehensive trade management strategies to maximize profitability, minimize risks, and drive revenue growth. Oversee and manage trade execution processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams to recognize market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to formulate effective pricing strategies.
Conduct thorough analysis of pricing data and market conditions to recommend optimal pricing structures and adjustments.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as profit margins, pricing metrics, customer acquisition costs, and sales volume to identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead pricing negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and business partners to secure favorable terms and ensure competitive pricing for Logistics.
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to a team of trade management professionals, ensuring their continuous development and performance.
Collaborate with Internal departments to implement and enhance trading systems, pricing models, and data management tools to ensure efficient operations.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments related to trade management and pricing, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in relevant field.
Post Graduation in Business and/or Relevant qualification in ports, shipping and Logistics business.
10-12 years experience as Commercial Head with cross functional exposure in ports/shipping/logistics industry. Preferably with International and local/regional experience with proven people management competencies.
