An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader - Food and Beverage in Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.

Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts in their respective domain (Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry, Reservations and Telecommunication, Transport etc.) as applicable to your role and as per your department and function to ensure team remains up to date on all directives received from middle or higher management.

Responsible for preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling systems.

Responsible for managing stock and inventories, vendors directory, contract agreement where applicable.

Deal with guests’ enquiries & complaints professionally, record any relevant details and notify the supervisor.

Accountable for all the processes related with Supply chain: vendors registration, creation of codes, price update, etc.

Report any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or any irregularities to the Supervisor. Highlight any technical glitches promptly.

Maintain specialization in Wine, Food, Drinks, Customs, service in Destination Dining to ensure excellent service delivery.

Anticipate Customer needs and deliver personalized service exceeding customer expectations thus creating memorable experience.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior working experience in handling all day dining or high-volume operations.

At least 1-2 years of experience as a Supervisor, Captain, Head Waiter or a Team Leader in a luxury hotel.

Proficient in English and a second language (preferably Russian) would be an added advantage.

Food and alcohol handling certifications.
