Key Responsibilities/Duties

Strategy and Planning

Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the section related policy, procedures manual, delegation of authority, systems user manuals and standard forms, and ensure alignment with SAI’s overall policies and procedures.

Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the sections’ strategic, budget and procurement, and operational plans ensuring alignment with the department and sector strategy and objectives, and SAI’s mission and vision.

Assist in the development of the section Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure to meet individual KPIs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Operations (with sub-headings)

Implement annual talent acquisition plan in accordance with the talent acquisition strategies in order to identify and select high caliber talents into required roles incorporating the needs of the SAI’s organizational units and Emiratization objectives.

Contribute to the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies to ensure timely availability of capabilities to support SAI’s overall business objectives.

Implement recruitment policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to interviews, assessments, selection and offer negotiations in accordance with the approved talent acquisition plan ensuring a robust, inclusive and accessible process to select qualified, competent, suitable and best fitted talents.

Liaise with hiring managers to identify talent needs in their organizational units and determine selection criteria to plan the staffing needs with Emiratization strategy in mind.

Implement recruitment sourcing process using the most effective recruitment sourcing methods, such as local and international recruitment agencies, headhunters and job portals, and maintain professional relations to source qualified candidates and build pipelines of potential talent pools.

Participate in external recruitment initiatives and events such as recruitment exhibitions and job fairs to attract talents from universities and colleges and build pipeline of potential diverse talent pools.

Implement Emiratization strategy and initiatives in coordination with SAI’s concerned organizational units, and monitor their effective and efficient implementation.

Keep current and adopt the best practices and industry standards in the field of talent acquisition through research and benchmarking to ensure continuous improvement in recruitment process.

Update the recruitment policy, procedures and processes in accordance with the latest UAE Labour Law to ensure validity of information.

Conduct research on competencies and skills required in the current labour market and update the recruitment process of SAI accordingly.
