Supply Chain Officer Full-time Job

Responsibilities

Utilize various forecasting methods to identify potential problems and develop strategies to tackle them

Build relationships with suppliers to maintain reliable lead times and secure price discounts for bulk orders

Monitor stock levels and order supplies to ensure stock availability when needed

Negotiate contracts with suppliers, establishes payment terms, and sets up delivery schedules

Develop and implement programs to enhance customer service and reduce total cycle time

Identify suppliers with reliable quality products and services

Interact with suppliers to provide resolution for supply-related discrepancies and material shortages

Develop and implement strategies for controlling inventory expenses and increasing inventory turns

Facilitate transportation and shipping of materials, products, and services

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

5 years of experience in supply chain management

Excellent knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards

Proven track record in developing and executing successful supply chain strategies

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Skilled in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

Good organizational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
