Supply Chain & Configuration Control Manager Full-time Job

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Oversight:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to source materials and components efficiently.

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of supply.

• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to meet production demands.

Logistics Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate the logistics for receiving, warehousing, and distribution of UAV components and systems.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for transporting aerospace materials.

• Develop process and implement relevant regulations for sensitive controlled items export / import compliance

Configuration Management:

• Establish and maintain configuration management processes for all UAV systems and components.

• Ensure that documentation is current, including specifications, drawings, and change orders.

• Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to configuration control procedures.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze supply chain and configuration management processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to align supply chain activities with project goals.

• Support project management initiatives related to product development and launches.

Reporting and Metrics:

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and configuration control effectiveness.

• Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain activities, challenges, and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management and configuration control, preferably in the aerospace or technology sectors.

• Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.

• Proficiency in SAP ERP (SAP super user)

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive and willing to work in small team dynamic fast-paced startup environment.
