Smoke Management System Full-time Job

Estimate and design smoke management systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and develop system designs that meet client needs.

Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for system design.

Perform calculations and simulations to determine smoke flow, ventilation requirements, and system sizing.

Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for smoke management systems.

Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.

Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams during construction and commissioning phases.

Conduct testing and commissioning activities to ensure proper functioning of smoke management systems.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in smoke management technologies.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Professional engineering license/certification is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing smoke management systems.

Experience working in the construction industry, particularly with large-scale projects.

Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations related to smoke management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
