An opportunity has arisen for a Head/Senior Therapist to join the team of Talise Spa in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Regularly inspect treatment rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.

Collaborate with Spa Treatment Manager to develop and implement a monthly training schedule.

Aid in the design and administration of monthly quizzes and assessments.

Administer spa treatments to guests using safe and professional methods.

Provide support in various capacities, such as serving as Spa Receptionist and managing retail skincare sales.

Stay updated on current spa services and skincare products.

Address guest inquiries regarding services, products and facility-related inquiries.

Coordinate spa services with other programs as necessary.

Keep professional licenses up to date.

Report any malfunctioning equipment to Spa Treatment Manager or Duty Manager.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of spa operations, including phone etiquette, guest relations, sales, and various services.

Supervise and motivate therapists, setting and tracking retail targets.

Monitor and maintain training records, submitting monthly reports.

Manage inventory for trolleys, reporting low stock to the Assistant Spa Manager for replenishment.

Report any product shortages or sanitation issues.

Assist in the operations of reception and boutique areas as needed.

Stay informed about competitors' services, pricing, and locations.

Develop and update service manuals.

Attend meetings with product vendors as required.

Ensure compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards through training and assessment reviews.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

At least 2 years of experience as a senior or a head therapist in a luxury hotel.

Completed a state required therapy anatomy and physiology program or obtained an internationally acknowledged therapy certification.
