Responsibilities
A willingness to learn and understand the Abu Dhabi real estate market.
To understand the business and have a sound business knowledge especially within the commercial real estate sector.
To obtain instructions within agreed guidelines to achieve agreed business targets.
To network and generate business.
To research accurately and present this information in writing to a professional standard.
Be responsible for your own business development, setting goals and creating a strategy to achieve those goals.
Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the Middle East and global business.
To undertake the efficient administration of all procedures in carrying out business.
To manage your own workload and support the department head’s workload.
To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality, and trust with prospective and existing clients to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
To communicate fully with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.
To perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.
To be able to think laterally and cross refer business across the Knight Frank network.
Qualifications/Education Required
Professional experience and personal skills profile
MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
Ideally holds a Broker Card issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport.
University degree.
Language skills: English. In addition, Arabic would be beneficial.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
You must have the drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace and be seeking an opportunity for fast-track career progression.
Be diligent and maintain accurate record keeping.
Career Experience Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
E xperience in the Abu Dhabi commercial real estate market is a plus.
A t least 4 years working in the same capacity and have a track record of completing lease renewals, new lettings, and lease disposals.
B usiness development and networking skills.
H ave an existing client network.
H ave experience of working with both tenants and landlords.
H ave a sound understanding of the commercial real estate market, current rents, trends, and incentives.
Be able to draft and navigate around Heads of Terms without any oversight.
Be able to navigate and advise on the commercial elements of a lease contract and have a sound understanding of the clauses which impact lease value.
Have experience in reporting to clients and providing regular updates.
I nternational experience is beneficial.
T he experience, ability, and enthusiasm to make and maintain business contacts.
T he ability and willingness to accept responsibility for any delegated tasks and duties.
