Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the development and execution of culinary strategies that align with the company's vision, emphasising the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and reflecting evolving industry trends.

Collaborate with executive chefs to curate dynamic menus showcasing seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary concepts, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer expectations.

Strategically oversee culinary operations across all outlets, maintaining rigorous standards and promptly addressing deviations to uphold Jumeirah's policies and service excellence.

Utilise data-driven insights to assess the profitability of culinary services, implementing proactive measures to optimize performance and enhance financial outcomes.

Foster synergies with strategic business units (SBUs), including Talise, to continuously refine culinary offerings, drive revenue growth, and maintain brand consistency across diverse service platforms.

Engage in public relations initiatives to elevate the profile and profitability of culinary services, leveraging promotional activities to enhance brand perception and market presence.

Lead and develop culinary teams through objective setting, performance management, and ongoing feedback, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, safeguarding guest well-being and shareholder interests while upholding Jumeirah's reputation for luxurious hospitality.

Contribute to budget preparation and actively monitor financial performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement and capitalizing on opportunities to optimize resource allocation.

Drive departmental policy enhancements and procedural improvements, leveraging innovation and best practices to enhance service delivery and maintain Jumeirah's reputation for excellence.

Inspire and empower team members to engage in change initiatives and process improvement projects, leveraging international best practices to drive cost efficiency, productivity, and innovation.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, culinary arts or equivalent

Experience in hotel and restaurant development and refurbishment.

10 years+ experience in a senior position managing multiple outlets.

Pre-opening experience in a senior management role, preferably in the same capacity.

Working with a culturally diverse workforce.

Proven track record of operating successfully multiple outlets which demonstrates business acumen.

Experience of managing large and diverse high-end operations.

Experience with menu compilation, layout, and design.

Experience of successfully managing people, curating, and guiding them through career paths.
