In This Role, You Will

Lead full lifecycle analysis, including requirements gathering, activity planning, and design implementation.

Define and monitor KPI metrics, driving data governance through standardization and communication.

Develop BI dashboards using tools such as Sisense, Tableau, PowerBI, or DataStudio, adhering to best practices and industry standards across finance, sales, inventory, and other organizational areas.

Design and implement new models to address business needs, while continuously improving existing solutions through various methodologies including simulation, optimization, prediction, and machine learning.

Conduct experiments and trials to refine ongoing strategies, interpreting results for actionable insights.

Utilize SQL, Python, and similar tools to access, construct, and manipulate large datasets in support of planned analyses.

Manage Data Analytics team, overseeing their performance and career development, while working autonomously.

Create and present documentation for management, responsible for exception management, reconciliation, and reporting.

Research and validate entity data using internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Liaise and analyze across projects within the Reference Data environment, contributing to interface, workflow, and reference data solutions.

Mentor junior team members, sharing data insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.

Develop and maintain documentation for analytics, tools, and processes to facilitate effective transition to end-users.

Deliver training sessions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and adoption of data-driven practices.

Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies, proposing changes as needed to optimize team efficiency.

Collaborate with managers and team members to progress current sprint and roadmap objectives.

Set SMART objectives for the team, project manage cross-functional initiatives, and maintain project decks including KPIs, ROI, data model design, architecture, and timeline.

Ensure project designs are peer-reviewed and approved before implementation, maintaining accountability for team knowledge and workload allocation.

Govern Periscope analytics across all teams, influencing consistency in style and methodology.

Establish a research function to drive continuous innovation, introducing new data products and technologies to improve ROI and overall team efficiency.

Demonstrate excellence by handling CEO requests directly and effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

4+ years of experience as a people manager, with 6+ years of work experience in analytics, preferably within an internet/e-commerce company.

Strong background in building, implementing, and maintaining predictive models on large datasets.

Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel; skills in Python, R, or similar tools are highly desirable.

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for data analysis (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations.

Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
