The Arts Club Dubai’s celebrated restaurant: Rohen, a culinary destination that brings together the delicate techniques of Japanese cuisine and the bold flavors of Peruvian ingredients is recruiting for a Restaurant Manager. Rohen is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. It prides itself on its dazzling presentation, perfectly balanced flavours and flamboyant cooking techniques from chef Michael Hoepfl and his team, all of which combine to bring a sense of theatre to the restaurant floor.

The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of the operation, including a vibrant lounge and extensive terrace. The role is responsible for coordinating a highly efficient and effective service, whilst ensuring that all financial and statutory requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to engage with Members, cascading confidence, and personality down to their team.

The successful candidate will have:

a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, managing a high end and vibrant Japanese restaurant, either as a standalone operation, or within a luxury hotel,

a proven track record of successfully managing a fast-paced restaurant with a focus on high quality cuisine and exceptional service,

a deep understanding of the fine dining industry and trends, a passion for Nikkei cuisine and a strong appreciation for culinary arts,

the ability to plan, develop and implement innovative policies to improve member recognition and quality of service,

a strong organizational skill and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment,

Ability to handle high pressure situations and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner,

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of 60 colleagues,

Fluent in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
