Work on avionics-related data acquisition/analytics and control, based on hardware platforms including mainstream embedded systems, NI Compact RIO, and HIL simulators such as OPAL-RT, software tools/data methodologies including LabVIEW/MATLAB, with familiarization in PYTHON/C/C++/SCADA/AWS.
Work closely with the team to develop advanced control-related electronics system hardware and software, preprocess the data, test/validate the solutions, and deploy the solutions at the stakeholders’ premises.
Liaise with superiors to make decisions regarding priorities and strategic goals.
Develop knowledge and skills within TII related to the latest techniques and applications related to aerospace system control and electronics.
Write technical reports.
Prepare and write papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Develop positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience
Hold a PhD degree obtained within the past five years or expect to graduate soon.
Have proven experience in the development of control and electronics-related hardware and algorithms, such as FPGA, DSP, Raspberry Pi, NI LabVIEW/CRIO platforms, or others, and have experience in developing electronics hardware platforms for industrial applications.
Be proficient in advanced control and electronics theories, with significant experience in MATLAB/Simulink model and algorithm development, as well as a track record of relevant research paper achievements.
Preferably, have experience in avionics and flight control.
Preferably, have experience in flight dynamics and 6DOF modeling.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
Demonstrate a drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
