Key Responsibilities/Duties

Strategy and Planning

Develop and manage the implementation and update of the section related policy, procedures manual, delegation of authority, systems user manuals and standard forms, and ensure compliance across the Authority and alignment with UAEAA’s overall policies and procedures.

Develop and manage the implementation, and update of the section’s strategic, budget and procurement, and operational plans ensuring alignment with the department and sector’s strategy and objectives, and UAEAA’s mission and vision.

Ensure effective cascading of the department and sector’ strategy and objectives, and UAEAA’s mission and vision into the section’s strategic, budget and procurement, and operational plans to achieve UAEAA’s overall objectives.

Develop the section’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with UAEAA’s overall objectives and ensure individual KPIs are met to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Operations (with sub-headings)

Develop and manage the implementation of annual talent acquisition plan and budget, and outline the most appropriate talent acquisition strategies for identifying and selecting high caliber talents into required roles incorporating the needs of the UAEAA’s organizational units and Emiratization objectives.

Develop and manage the implementation of talent acquisition strategies to ensure timely availability of capabilities to support UAEAA’s overall business objectives.

Develop and manage the implementation of recruitment policies procedures and processes in accordance with the approved talent acquisition plan, ensuring a robust, inclusive and accessible process to select qualified, competent, suitable and best fitted talents.

Manage the recruitment sourcing process through identification of the most effective recruitment sourcing methods, such as local and international recruitment agencies, headhunters and job portals, and establish and maintain professional relations to source qualified candidates and build pipelines of potential talent pools.

Manage external recruitment initiatives and events such as recruitment exhibitions and job fairs to attract talents from universities and colleges and build diverse talent pools.

Manage Emiratization strategy and initiatives in coordination with UAEAA’s concerned organizational units, to ensure their effective and efficient implementation.

Ensure continuous improvement in recruitment process by keeping up-to-date and adopting the best practices and industry standards in the field of talent acquisition through research and benchmarking.

Manage the update of the recruitment policy, procedures and processes to ensure validity of information as per current UAE Labour Law.

Manage and lead the research of competencies and skills required in the current labour market and ensure to update the recruitment process of UAEAA accordingly.

Review reports on key talent acquisition related metrics, including monthly, annual and ad hoc reports prior to submission for approval.

Manage the recruitment Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as SAP, Oracle, etc. implementation to ensure optimization of the recruitment process in order to increases efficiency and productivity.
