Job Details

Serve as a key member of the MySQL Solution Engineering team focused on driving MySQL adoption.

Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the opensource database market.

Experience with account management (Enterprise, SMB and startup) and solution selling.

Maintain strong database technical knowledge with the ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate between varied database approaches (relational, non-relational, in-memory, data warehousing, etc.)

Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive awareness and adoption of MySQL.

Identify leads for potential partnerships and customer opportunities in the MySQL community.

Collaborating with internal teams to define the product road map and market positioning for MySQL offerings.

Identify, drive, develop & support community user groups and developer program initiatives for MySQL

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology to client business. Facilitation of customer product understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
