Network Engineer Full-time Job

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network systems through the use of best practices and industry standards.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and security technologies.

• Monitor, identify, and rectify network problems and potential security threats.

• Manage network operations, associated systems, and related infrastructure components.

• Develop and deploy automated solutions to address network deficiencies.

• Coordinate with other IT staff to support and maintain network operations.

• Develop and document all procedures, processes, and standards related to network operations.

• Assist with other network-related projects as required.

Desired Skills:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Network Information Systems or a related field.

• CCNP, ITIL, or a related certification is preferred.

• 5 years of experience in network engineering and troubleshooting.

• Ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues.

• Exposure to network security design and best practices.

• Experience working with Cisco IOS, Linux, and/or other automation tools.

• Knowledge of routing protocols and their implementation.

• Research-oriented mindset with the ability to stay abreast of the latest technology.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
