Job Details


Work with senior researchers to define motor and generator topologies and technology solutions.

Define and procure electric machine components and manage manufacture of prototype machines for testing in a hybrid electric architecture

Define and procure test bench infrastructure. Develop and execute test plans.

Develop personal knowledge and skills related to the latest power electronics techniques and applications relevant to electrified propulsion technology.

Collect and reduce test data, review, and write technical reports.

Prepare and write papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Execute research activities on schedule and with conformity to established regulations (health, safety, regulations, ethics)

Develop and implement action plans to address issues associated with electric machines as they arise on programs


Minimum 10 years’ experience in electric machine design

Experience with electronics and controls development

Proficiency in electromagnetic design/analysis and working knowledge of thermal and mechanical analysis.

Experience with controls and/or electronics is a plus

Working knowledge of aviation design and certification standards for electric machines including DO-160G

Strong oral and written communication skills

Fluency in English is required. Arabic is considered a plus.
