Your role will be included but not limited to:
Plan, organize, and oversee all laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens and uniforms
Ensure all laundry tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
Recruit, train, and manage a team of laundry staff
Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure appropriate staffing levels and smooth workflow
Implement and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that all linens and uniforms meet the hotel's quality and cleanliness standards
Inspect and evaluate laundry processes to identify areas for improvement
Maintain accurate inventory records of linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies
Coordinate with the purchasing department to order necessary supplies in a cost-effective manner
Insure all laundry equipment are functioning at all time
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Ensure that the laundry department complies with safety and health regulations
Manage the laundry department budget effectively, controlling expenses while maintaining quality standards
Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Laundry Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
Familiarity with laundry software and systems
