What you will be doing:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, including supervising laundry staff, scheduling, and task allocation.
Maintain and enforce quality control standards to ensure all linens, garments, and items meet established cleanliness and presentation criteria.
Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of laundry supplies, detergents, and equipment
Develop and implement efficient laundry processes to maximize productivity and minimize turnaround times.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean and pressed items as needed.
Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of laundry equipment to prevent disruptions in operations.
Uphold health and safety regulations within the laundry facility and implement necessary protocols to prevent accidents.
Handle customer inquiries, requests, and concerns related to laundry services in a courteous and professional manner.
Prepare and analyze reports on laundry operations, including productivity, expenses, and inventory levels.
Your Experience And Skills Include
Experience as a Laundry Manager in 5 * Hotels min 2 years
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using laundry equipment and understanding of laundry processes.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a laundry environment.
Budgeting and cost control experience is a plus.
