Infrastructure and Information Security Specialist Full-time Job

Develop information security policies, procedures and standards for the library and ensure that they are in line with Smart Dubai policies and regulations related to information technology and security.

Planning the requirements of applications, systems, networks and technical capabilities of the library and submitting them to the direct manager.

Updating and maintaining the library’s software, technical systems and infrastructure.

Evaluating the level of efficiency and technical and operational readiness of databases and systems in the library.

Preparing all precautions and alternative programs in the event of a technical emergency in the infrastructure and information security, and using software to monitor the library’s internal network traffic, and granting priorities, blocking operations, general oversight, control, and handling of breaches.

Evaluating and selecting protection products to secure the library’s IT systems and ensuring that they comply with approved specifications.

Conduct periodic reviews of the library applications structure and submit a report to the direct manager.

Define library standards for end-user applications.

Design and continuous updating of the library’s network and server and ensuring their readiness.

Follow up on the implementation of outsourcing contracts with external suppliers and providers of infrastructure and information security services.

Preparing periodic reports on IT infrastructure and information security activities and submitting development recommendations and proposals to the direct manager.

Identify and manage technical and information risks in accordance with the Dubai Government Information Security System.
