Commercial Strategy Development:

Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's objectives.

Identify market trends, analyze competition, and recommend strategic initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.

Chartering and Operations Management:

Oversee chartering activities, negotiations, and contracts to ensure optimal vessel utilization and revenue generation.

Collaborate closely with technical teams to streamline operations, minimize downtime, and enhance vessel efficiency.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to expand the client base.

Address client concerns, negotiate agreements, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Risk Management:

Evaluate market risks, fluctuations, and potential disruptions to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Implement measures to enhance the resilience of the commercial operations against market uncertainties.

Financial Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights to support decision-making processes.

Work closely with finance teams to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.


Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Proven track record in a senior commercial role within the dry bulk shipping industry.

Strong understanding of technical aspects related to dry bulk vessel management.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic mindset with the ability to make informed decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
