Cluster Security Supervisor Full-time Job

Job Description

The Cluster Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the security team's activities to maintain a secure and safe environment. This position involves supervising security personnel, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and implementing security protocols and procedures.

Supervision and Leadership:

Lead, train, and manage a team of security officers.

Schedule shifts and assignments for security personnel to ensure coverage at all times.

Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations for the security team.

Foster a positive and professional work environment within the security team.

Security Operations:

Oversee security operations, including access control, patrolling, and monitoring of premises.

Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.

Conduct regular security checks to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security protocols.

Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.

Security System Management:

Monitor and maintain security systems such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms.

Ensure proper functioning of security equipment and promptly address any malfunctions or issues.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.

Policy and Procedure Enforcement:

Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a consistent and standardized approach to security.

Train security personnel on proper protocols and procedures.

Incident Reporting and Documentation:

Document all security-related incidents, including detailed descriptions of events, actions taken, and outcomes.

Prepare incident reports for management review and potential legal proceedings.

Training and Development:

Organize and conduct regular training sessions for the security team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Stay updated on industry trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies.

Guest and Stakeholder Interaction:

Maintain positive relationships with clients, employees, and other stakeholders to address security concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.

Excellent management and supervisory skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.

Ability to work with confidential and classified information.

Additional Information

Experience is an asset.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
