Bar Captain Full-time Job

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Ensures seamless operation of bar.

Ensures constant updates of creative cocktail/mocktail offerings.

Ensures trainings of beverage knowledge to entire team

Ensures consistency in beverage preparation.

Ensures profitability of bar operation

Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in logbook for further follow up.

Executes cash handling and banking procedures.

Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports.

Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures.

Reports or deals with irregular payments.

Supervise the maintenance of service equipment.

Monitor standards of guest facilities and services

Control stock and monitor security procedures.

Assist with menu and wine list creation.

Supervises colleagues during shifts and functions.

Supervise outlet section service.

What we need from you:

Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Great communication skills.

Positive attitude.

Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm attitude when required.

Provide support to positions both above and below.

Responsible cash handling and accurate recording of financial reports both opening and closing.

Completion of required checklists to a high standard.
