Associate Director Environment Full-time Job

Key Responsibilities:

Lead client relationships for the environment business as well as for the wider business.

Identify and pursue business development opportunities for environmental projects, collaborating with other teams to target key clients.

Offer expert advice on environmental projects, drawing upon your extensive experience in sustainable design, fire and life safety, façade engineering, and other relevant areas.

Assist the Division Director in strategic business planning and analysis.

Delegate duties to employees to streamline day-to-day activities and achieve project objectives.

Lead project delivery, ensuring timely execution of project deliverables and maintaining strong client relationships.

Collaborate with client businesses throughout the project lifecycle, leveraging business performance improvement approaches.

Manage large, complex client engagements and projects on behalf of the company.

Assess and communicate key environmental and social risks in projects to relevant parties.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, supporting their professional development.

Oversee project management activities, including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and quality.

Engage with clients to continuously improve service offerings.

Essential Skills:

Degree in relevant subjects (Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or similar) with further post-graduate education desirable (e.g. Masters degree), along with demonstrated work experience within the field.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
