The Solutions Development Manager will mainly focus on supporting the Business Development and Bridge initiatives in lead generation, campaign management and solutions development spanning the logistics and trade domains. The role will focus on identifying opportunities and attracting trade to DP World GCC. Based on market insights and research, the SDM will proactively target commodity clustering and support to drive the customer commodity trade value chain at Jebel Ali through a variety of trade solutions.
-The key priorities will be to grow the book of new business to build increasing value and achieve overall revenue targets.
-Act as a Trade & Logistics consultant to the BDM – collaborating across BU’s to deliver compelling value proposition for Trade Development.
-Build strong relationship within the UAE region business units and understand capabilities which can be oriented in unique customer value Trade solutions.
-Together with the Business Intelligence team, compile & provide analytical reports on market size & opportunities for UAE Region & the allocated Region for all cargo types & leading commodities seeking improved business strategies.
-Support developing the Regional BD strategy seeking new business opportunities across identified industry & commodity verticals for all DP World BU’s, with focus on new trade flows to our terminals and investment to our zones.

Develop with the BDM and communications campaigns to attract investments and trade across all the target markets and Bridges
Lead management of campaigns and pipeline management for BDMs
Internal Sales - follow up on leads
Supporting on client solutions development for trade and logistics
Support client feasibility studies for industrial development
Identify & develop a portfolio of accounts to offer them a range of (tailor made) solutions
Screens potential new business opportunity by firming up Business Ideas in Brief, Initial commercial feasibility study and financials.
Prepare presentations to management and recommendations for investment approvals
Support in reviewing the tender documents in detail and validating summaries.
Driving procurement (establishing costs/rates) of the relevant services offered to customers
Calculating relative and absolute profit estimates per service component for sign off by management.
Defining and driving project plans for tenders and communicating same to stakeholders
