The Assistant Manager - Industrial Automation will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical team responsible for industrial automation projects. This role involves coordinating and managing day-to-day activities, creating technical submittals, and engaging with clients to address their technical concerns. The Assistant Manager must possess a wide range of knowledge in both the Oil & Gas and Non-Oil & Gas sectors to effectively lead the team in delivering successful automation solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Worked in Rockwell Automation PLC platforms from PLC 5 to ControlLogix and expert in Rockwell software’s Rs Logix 5, Rs Logix 500, CCW, Studio 5000, Factory Plantpax Distributed Control System (5.0 & earlier).

Worked in Siemens Automation PLC platforms S7-1200, S7-1500R, S7-1500H, S7400H, PCS 7 and mid-level programmer in Siemens software’s TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Simatic PCS7, Wincc Visualization Platform.

Worked in virtualization & digitalization platforms with VMware, ft Stratus servers, thin manager, thin clients, ERP interface with Rest API, SQL database creation, Report generation with OEE, KPI Dashboards.

Networking knowledge in configuring industrial networks, Cisco switches, Cybersecurity Industrial firewalls, Server configuration & Maintenance.

Expert in SCADA systems like Rs View 32, Factory Talk View SE & Siemens Wincc & comfort panels.

Testing & Commissioning of LV Panels Form2, Form4, VFD panels (Rockwell & Siemens), Intelligent MCC’s.

Controlling the design documents, conducting weekly project meeting and review and action of development plans, project cost and budgeting.

Prepare project scope of work, planning and scheduling, work-hour estimation and coordination, progress monitoring and reporting.

On-site Technical Support, Preventive maintenance & Breakdown troubleshooting services.

Identifies deviation in job scope, estimate changes and initiates variation notes to Project Engineering manager.

Field Survey, Selection of Control system components, Preparing cable schedules, JB drawings, Instrument loop drawings, Field instruments, Smart Transmitters (HART & Profibus PA) Technical Validation of System Architecture & Proposal.
